Pastor Michele was trained and nurtured in ministry at the Greater Mt. Calvary Holy Church under the leadership of Bishop Alfred A. Owens, Jr. and Co-Pastor Susie C. Owens (1986-2000) and received her first ministerial license in 2003, while serving at a local Mt. Calvary sister church, Christ CornerStone Church, under the leadership of Pastor Paulette L. Scott (2000 – 2005). She is also a 1991 graduate of Calvary Bible Institute. After transitioning into the role and responsibility of Evangelist in 2005, she was ordained as an Pastor in the summer of 2007 while serving as Assistant Pastor at a local para-ministry of Kingdom Connected Ministry Organization before relocating to North Carolina to Pastor a grassroots church near the Charlotte region for several years.
Pastor Michele has been privy to serve in the Lord's church in many capacities, and every assignment has proven provident to her place in ministry. Her ministry serves surrounding regions through preaching, teaching Bible study, workshops on Leadership, and seminars on Domestic Violence to such groups as educators, medical personnel, clergy, women's ministries, and youth alike. Pastor Michele's ministry has also taken her to such areas as Maryland, Washington, DC, Virginia, North Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, Texas, Guam, Southwest Asia, and Africa.
Pastor Michele retired from the USAF after 26 years of dedicated military service with the 113th DC Air National Guard at Andrews Air Force Base. During her tenure serving in the field in Southwest Asia, Pastor Michele was a committed servant to the Wounded Warriors program, which served those who were in recovery from injuries or those awaiting surgery while serving overseas. Her love for those who are hurting, discouraged, and in need of comfort was also extended to those under her care as she served as the Interim Pastor for the VictoryChapel Gospel Service. During her pastorate, she counseled, taught, led, and ministered to over 130 individuals who were left to her spiritual care.
Pastor Michele has a great burden for souls and she firmly believes that being a soul-winner for Christ is the greatest responsibility in which to uphold... "He who winneth souls is wise." (Proverbs 11:30b) She is married to Apostle Shaun P. Johnson, Sr. and they have three sons, one daughter, one daughter-in-law, and one grandson.
